Salelles breaks the 35:00 barrier in 10K

Another outstanding “weekend” for my pupils who have achieved excellent personal records in the different competitions in which they have taken part and two of them have even managed to get on the podium.

One of them, Mikel Pellicer who debuted yesterday Sunday in a mountain event, did so with very good feelings and also came in 2nd master's A, completing the 22Km distance in just 2h42:00!!! Spectacular!!

The one from Bellreguard was extremely happy and so was I because it was something we couldn't imagine. To continue then, there will be more Trail races in 2025

In El Campello and organized by the Brotons Group, a race of almost 5Km was also held yesterday, where the athlete from Tavernes de Valldigna Jose Enguix was champion among the masters E with a time of 17 :15 (3'40”/Km).

He had not trained for a few days due to a “homemade accident” that hurt his knee and he doubted if he could run. So he took it as a test, going out without a time clock or anything to just feel sensations. “If it hurts or gets worse…I stop.” But it wasn't like that and he only stopped when he crossed the finish line, taking a nice victory in his category. Congratulations crack!!

By the way, its sports data for 2024 is: 43 podiums, with more than 50% achieved as first place. Incredible!!

Of course, don't try to imitate him hehehe, you already know that I don't like competing more than twice a month, but his case is for something personal and he does it this way by mutual agreement and fortunately it works for us.

10K of Valencia

They get along very well, they have been friends since childhood because they went to school together, and now at 25 years old they share careers. One of them is my nephew Pau. How beautiful is friendship!!

Well, yesterday in Valencia the two set their best personal times of their lives in 10K. Ferrán Salelles, from Miramar, also broke the 35:00 barrier for the first time, leaving a mark of 34:27 (3'26”/Km) improving his previous PB by 41”. /p>

For his part, my nephew Pau Enric Sancho Beneyto (Denia) also managed to improve his personal best time to 38:28 (3'50”/Km) with a substantial improvement of 29” .

Both were very happy at the end of the test and were very satisfied with their medal and it was no wonder. They deserved it.

Covered Court

In Valencia too, but on an indoor track and in an 800m control, the master 40 athlete Isa Gregori competed in an 800m control, achieving a very good mark of 2'33”8. A mark that brings him closer and closer to the minimum participation in the Spanish master's championship that will take place in Antequera at the beginning of March. We will continue training to achieve it.

He ran at a very good pace, stable at all times and even faster on the last lap which he clocked at 37” while overtaking different athletes. Congratulations Isa!!

As always very proud of all my athletes
