Pellicer flies in the Valencia half 1h13:46!!

We are still on the best possible streak. This weekend all of you FBR have shown that with the best possible mentality and the best doses of effort you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.

9.9Km from La Vila Joiosa

In this race on the Marina Baixa circuit, the Dianense Miguel Molines (Independiente) achieved victory in the sub 23 category (11th overall), thanks to a very good time of 35:29 (3'35"/Km). In a busy week and on a not flat circuit, the result is great. Congratulations Miguel

In the youth category and over 3.5Km, Adrián Llobell (Ginestar Benissa) came in 2nd thanks to completing the four laps of the course (they took one more lap due to the mistake of those who acted as judges) at an outstanding pace of 3'39”/Km. Adrián is going out of his way, he is going faster!!

Gran Fons d.Oliva

They had to cut the route by 2Km and it remained at 10Km. Of course with the usual demands.

Well, the athlete from Tabernes de Valldigna Jose Enguix (Rest. El Quijote) achieved victory among the masters E on Saturday afternoon with a very good time of 38:54 (3'53"/Km). At 56 years of age he is incredible. The next day he shot 22Km without a problem

Valencia Half Marathon

The first FBR to cross the finish line of this massive event that is a world reference for the records that are broken was the athlete from Bellerguard Mikel Pellicer (Gandía Alpesa) The 44-year-old master achieved his second personal best record of his life and left spectacular figures of 1h13:46 (3'29"/Km). The preparation focused on the marathon in the capital of Turia is very well underway. Huge Mikel!!

After him came his friend and neighbor Oscar Lizcano (Gandía Alpesa) who arrived with many doubts because an injury had kept him from training in the last month and it had only been a couple of weeks that he had been able to do “cacos” to recover, in addition to putting on insoles to eliminate those problems that arose.

Wonderfully, he was able to finish the test and much better than he expected because, for both of us, it was already a great achievement to be able to finish it. He went out with caution and ran from less to more as he gained confidence in himself and also as he approached the finish line he marked some splits every 5Km of 22:03 - 21:42 - 21:28 - 20:47 + 1.1Km in 4:18 to set a final time of 1h30:15 (4'16”/Km) Brutal!!

Shortly after, the Dianense Pedro Cabrera (Denia Corre) also achieved a very good result in his preparation for the 102Km Trail in Benidorm. Also running from less to more, like Oscar, he crossed the finish line in 1h35:28 (4'31”/Km). Outstanding!!!

We add and continue!!

Happy strides and kilometers!!
