Very good results in general from the FBR group
Yesterday, Sunday morning in Gandía, the 10Km and Half Marathon tests were jointly organized where several of my athletes competed, or “trained.”
In the 10K there were Miquel Pellicer and Jose Enguix. The first, from Bellreguard, arrived without competing since the Denia half marathon (September 22) due to a sun problem that has disrupted the preparation we had, having to put in many bike sessions at the beginning and in the last three weeks we have began to progressively incorporate running sessions.
I have to say that the physio Nacho Benítez (Ofisport) has been able to lead him to a successful recovery. Thank you very much
Well Miquel achieved a time of 36:07 (3'36”/Km) in the approved 10Km test, also completing the second part faster than the first (18:00 + 17:37) which is indicative that he knew how to manage the effort very well. All of this also earned him second place in the Master 40. Congratulations!!
For his part, the athlete from Tavernes de Valldigna Jose Enguix achieved a magnificent time of 37:20 (3'44”/Km) in these 10K. Excellent figures for his 55 years of age and that allowed him to get on the podium also being 3rd Master 50. Super!!!
Already in the half marathon distance, the Miramar athlete Ferràn Salelles achieved a promising time of 1h19:41 (3'46”/Km). Chrono also carried out from less to more because the idea was to carry out a quality shoot. And boy did he do it, finishing the last km in 3'26” Outstanding!!
For his part, the young Dianense Miguel Molines (20) made his debut in the distance and the premise was clear. Go for a run to learn to manage effort over a distance that is still long for him. “In 2025 we will train more specifically to improve what we did in Gandía and you will already have that experience.”
Well 1h20:59 (3'50”/Km) which is super good, much better than expected before starting the game. And the best thing is that he knew how to control the pace to finish very strong in the final part. Great Miguel, excellent debut!!
In Lietor, Albacete, the Cieza native Ismael Guirao achieved a new victory in his very demanding 9.6Km test. 44:58 (4'40”/Km) which earned him first place in Various Abilities and he has already achieved many this season. The next stop is the local half marathon to be held in December and we are already regulating the last efforts to arrive in the best possible shape. How good you are Ismael!!!
And in Barcelona and over 10Km the Argentine Mati Chems (world champion in sailing who has been running for a while to stay in shape) made his debut. He did great with 45:29 (4'32”/ km). I met him personally when I was in Denia last spring. He became interested in learning to run technically well because he could barely run a couple of kilometers in a row due to pain. Now he is able to run 10Km continuously and enjoy it, which satisfies me enormously. And what can I say that the rhythm achieved is “chapeau”. Congratulations Mati!!
