Jose Enguix 3rd master's degree E in Beniarjó.
How great are the FBRs!!
The great Nasio Cardona, the incombustible and quite possibly, if not the best, surely one of the best Valencian Community Trail athletes in history, achieved yesterday Sunday his recently turned 50 years old the absolute victory of the “Tres Tossals” Trail in Gata de Gorgos, his hometown.
He did it in the distance of 21Km with a time of 1h53:57, dominating the test from the beginning of it. He left his opponents with great ease. He was only followed a little further away by another athlete who competed in the 16 km distance.
A circuit that became even harder because the recent rains left the path very slippery, but the athlete raised since he was a child in Xabia knew how to maneuver the challenges perfectly with agility to win this great victory.
How great you are Nasio, at your feet always!!
But there was nothing left of it, because another of my athletes Emilio Signes, also local, and who debuted in Trail when he was barely fifteen years old, achieved victory in the under 23 category and was also 3rd in the absolute local general classification. He did it in the distance of 16Km and his final time was 1h39.
Spectacular Emili!! I know that you suffered because this distance was still very long for you and in a specialty for which we did not prepare anything, but I know that the motivation of running “at home” made you get that extra energy that earned you this excellent success! You deserve it! crack!!
On the asphalt of Alicante and on a demanding 5Km circuit - due to its slopes - the Dianense Emi López achieved absolute victory, stopping the clock at 20:40 (4'08”/Km ). Very good sensations for Emi who knew how to regulate the rhythm at all times. My most sincere congratulations!!
In Beniarjó and over 8Km, the athlete from Tavernes de Valldigna Jose Enguix Sancho came in 3rd in the E master's degree with an outstanding time of 29:10 (3'39”/Km). Enguix is tackling an immaculate 2024. At 55 years old, his fitness level is spectacular.
He arrived in Beniarjó during a heavy training week and even so his pace was incredible
Congratulations crack!!
For his part, the Dianense Pedro Cabrera did an excellent run ahead of the Valencia marathon, running the Benidorm average in 1h39:09 (4'41”/Km). There is less Pedro left, now to finish Valencia, which is our great goal for the end of the year. Let's go!!
