Rocío Ríos, Olympic marathoner in Atlanta 96, achieves the bronze medal in 1,500m as a master athlete

How excited it made me, I almost couldn't believe it, could I?
Rocío Rios, last Saturday won the bronze medal in the Spanish Master (F55) Track Mile Championship held in Alcobendas.

And although the injuries continued to appear each time, we managed to make them more spaced out and smaller, all done in a very patient and preventive way.
Finally, almost two years ago we started training without problems, with continuity and obviously with progression in its evolution.
And today, almost without intending it, all that little ant work, with a lot of perseverance and honor on his part, after many times getting up once again after those falls, has achieved a well-deserved award in the form of a medal national and in a distance in which she was not a specialist in her professional stage, the mile (1,609m).

With 6:13 he has managed to show that all the road traveled and all the training has been worth it.
Rocío CONGRATULATIONS!
You have made me very happy to see you at the top of the podium so happy
And we continue..
